Rob Woodall Is The Biggest Threat To Your Georgia Family

'You've Been Single Greatest Threat to My Family'

Is Rob Woodall (GA-7) a bigger threat to your family than a home invasion, a fire or a car crash?  Yes, he is.  It's time to recognize our congressman voting against our interests is a real and present danger to our families.  1 in 2 people in Georgia have pre-existing conditions.  Rob Roodall's vote supporting the AHCA (Trumpcare) will make basic healthcare too expensive to obtain, if Georgians with pre-existing conditions can get it, without being denied coverage.

This week, a concerned Dad lashed out at Rep. Tom MacArthur (R-NJ) in a congressional town hall.  If you read the article, you'll see that the man is incensed by the fact that Tom MacArthur supported and voted for a deal that got TrumpCare through the US House of Representatives.

Furios Concerned Father

Why is this man so upset?  He's upset because his family has pre-existing conditions.  His wife beat cancer and his kids have pre-existing conditions.  He's concerned that his family won't be able to get affordable healthcare in the United States if Trumpcare is passed.

Rob Woodall (R-GA 7th District)

This is where Rob Woodall (R-GA) comes in.  Rob also supports Trumpcare.  He's voted for it and and as recently as this week has voiced that he's "Going about his business" and his office staff said “[Woodall] has been a proponent of repealing and replacing Obamacare, and that’s what this effort in the House was the first step in doing."

To understand the risk to our families, you need to understand what is considered pre-existing condition.  Time Magazine lists them, and they include:

  • AIDS/HIV
  • Alcohol or drug abuse with recent treatment
  • Alzheimer’s/dementia
  • Anorexia
  • Arthritis
  • Bulimia
  • Cancer
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Congestive heart failure
  • Coronary artery/heart disease, bypass surgery
  • Crohn’s disease
  • Diabetes
  • Epilepsy
  • Hemophilia
  • Hepatitis
  • Kidney disease, renal failure
  • Lupus
  • Mental disorders (including Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Schizophrenia)
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Muscular dystrophy
  • Obesity
  • Organ transplant
  • Paraplegia
  • Paralysis
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Pending surgery or hospitalization
  • Pneumocystic pneumonia
  • Pregnancy or expectant parent (includes men)
  • Sleep apnea
  • Stroke
  • Transsexualism

  • So... now is the time to begin supporting a candidate to replace Rob Woodall.  Gwinnett and Forsyth counties deserve a Congressional Representative that is not a poodle for Donald Trump.

$27 Million and 514 Jobs To Be Lost in GA - The Trump Slump in Tourism

The "Trump Slump" impact on 2017 Georgia Tourism is estimated to be a loss of $27 million in economic impact, 514 jobs lost, and a loss of 35,000 visitors to the State of Georgia.

This estimated loss will be caused by the Trump Administration's perceived hostility by international visitors.  Most of these 2017 job and economic losses will occur in the Atlanta area, including significant impact to the 7th Congressional District and Gwinnett County.

    Rep. Rob Woodall
    Sen. Johnny Isakson
    Sen. David Perdue

We call upon Representative Rob Woodall and Senators Johnny Isakson and David Perdue to oppose the Trump Administration's bad policies that have significant negative economic impact on Georgians.  And, especially ones that deliver no real security value to the United States.

We hoped to question Rep. Woodall, Sen. Isakson, and Sen. Perdue in public Town Hall meetings.  Unfortunately they are unwilling to meet in Town Halls. So far none of our 800 Indivisible GA-7 members have been able to submit questions in telephone town halls held by the congressmen.  The photo below is our group gathered on Feb 15th.  We dialed into Rep. Woodall's brief 30 minute town hall where Rep. Woodall spent precious time defending the Trump Administration against Russian influence.  We have also delivered a petition to Rep. Rob Woodall with hundreds of signatures, requesting a town hall.  This petition has gone completely unanswered.  Attempts to interact with Senator David Perdue's staff in public meetings have also been futile, as documented by the Christian Science Monitor and Talking Points Memo.

These 2017 economic impact estimates are based on the the fact 52% of all international visitors to Georgia participate in tourism.  Travel Weekly magazine says there is already an observed 6.8% decline in international tourism activity.  This analysis of impact on Georgia has been performed by Indivisible GA-7 members.

Indivisible GA-7 is a group that self-organized using social media, and consists of local, unpaid concerned citizens in the 7th Congressional District that is temporarily held by Rep. Rob Woodall.  Indivisible GA-7 members are focused on promoting good government decision making.  We have over 800 members that includes Republicans, Democrats, and Independents.  We find it offensive our Congressmen are actively avoiding us and voting against the interests of the State of Georgia and it's citizens.

We encourage Georgia constituents to call their elected officials today.  Tell Congress that Georgians do not like the negative impact of the Trump's short-sighted immigration policies that will result in loss of $27 in million economic value, 514 jobs lost and a loss of 35,000 visitors in 2017.  We expect our congressional representatives to actively oppose Trump's bad immigration policies and do what right for Georgians.

    Rep Rob Woodall

    Senator Johnny Isakson

Is Senator David Perdue In An Ivory Tower?

Senator David Perdue is out of touch with every-day Georgia citizens, and getting more out of touch every week.  He needs to step out of his Ivory Tower....  and as my mother would say "Get some sunshine and fresh air."  In this case, it means meeting with his constituents.
    Sen. David Perdue

Senator Perdue is seemingly tone deaf that red, blue and purple voters in Georgia are deeply concerned about legitimate ethics issues in the White House, about our healthcare, equal rights, environment and education.  He's clearly misunderstanding.

Our first encounter with Senator David Perdue's heavy handed swatting away of constituents was in Greensboro, GA in early February.  The Christian Science Monitor interviewed a few folks at the Greensboro meeting and wrote this thoughtful article.  http://bit.ly/2lYQxct

On that very day, Senator Perdue claimed organized protesters were paid and organized by Democrats to disrupt his meeting.  Well, nothing could be further from the truth, and frankly it was really annoying.

Senator Perdue is taking active steps to avoid constituents' questions.  He's been quoted on Atlanta TV saying "Town Halls aren't my style" http://on.11alive.com/2lSVoMD

Today, we are reading in the Athens Banner-Herald http://bit.ly/2lSSsj5 how citizens are deeply offended by his remarks.  I'm so happy it's not just us!

What Senator David Perdue, Senator Johnny Isakson and my Congressman Rob Woodall don't understand is that we are your constituents, and we are calling on you to listen and work with us.   Despite what Donald Trump says, we are not organized by Barack Obama.  We are not paid.  We aren't even all Democrats.

    Rep. Rob Woodall
Our Indivisible GA-7 group in Congressional House District GA-7 has grown from 2 to 800 members in eight weeks.  We are organizing.  We have PR experts.  We have former congressional staffers.  We have marketing people.  We have a technology team.  We are watching your votes and every time you are quoted in the media.  We are now raising money and focused on educating our fellow citizens about the risky consequences of your votes.   We'll continue to grow and I doubt you'll be able to match our media and community outreach efforts.  We are focused on this like a laser beam... and your behavior is really helping galvanize our resolve.

We've already delivered petitions to your office asking for group meetings and you've declined.  We'll continue to extend the offer and hope you'll soon realize we are real and not going away.  Ever.
